WelcomeMat is a private app for a single neighbourhood. Every member is verified at their home address, so there are no strangers, no scams, and no spam. A local director actually runs it. Not a group. Not a forum. A place that belongs to your community.
Private and invitation-free: your address is the key. No outsiders, no bots, no sales spam.
How it works

A licensed local director takes on your community. One person, accountable, reachable by every resident. Not a moderation queue and not a support address.
Households are already mapped. A resident claims their own address and is in — no invite codes, no approval backlog, and nobody from outside the neighbourhood can get in behind them.
Posts, replies, clubs, and a resident directory people can opt out of. The director keeps it healthy day to day.
For communities
Most neighbourhoods are held together by a Facebook group nobody wants to run and a management portal nobody opens.
Nobody outside the neighbourhood can join, read, or post. Scammers, bots and drive-by advertisers never get past the front door, and a real director removes anything that does not belong.
Your director is a named local business owner with their email published to the community. When something goes wrong, there is someone to contact who can actually fix it.
Membership follows the household. People who move in are welcomed; people who don't live there cannot see in.
Residents can keep themselves out of the directory, and that choice is enforced by the app rather than promised by it.

For prospective directors
We license one director per community. You own the relationships and the day-to-day. We provide the app, the community, and the agreement behind it.
We keep the detail for a conversation. If it sounds like a fit, ask and we'll walk you through the numbers.

Whether you're on a board looking for something better, a resident trying to police a failing Facebook group, or you want to become a director — start here and we'll point you to the right person.
